fix it. However it is important to keep in mind that no surgery
is risk free and any person seriously contemplating plastic
surgery should take the time to ask important questions as a
part of their pre-surgery research.

One of the most important questions to ask, is “what are the
risks?” And since all surgery carries some inherent risks, this
is an aspect of cosmetic surgery that should be considered
carefully before making a final decision. Even if your doctor is
experienced and the risks are minimal you may still develop
complications either during or after your surgery. You should
therefore be sure to thoroughly review your health history with
your doctor before commencing with any plastic surgery.

A good cosmetic surgeon will take your reasons for surgery into
consideration and will be honest about the risks. Are you sure
the risks outweigh the potential benefits? What, if any, follow
up will be done by the surgeon? Will the doctor make adjustments
if needed? How will complications be handled? How much time will
you need to recover and what are the expected side effects of
surgery?

Another important consideration you should carefully examine is
your reason for plastic surgery.

Although the makeovers on television may give the impression
that cosmetic surgery can improve the quality of your life it is
vitally important that you have a realistic outlook on the
impact of surgery.

When discussing cosmetic surgery with a doctor, they should also
tell you the options that are available and any alternatives to
surgery. You shouldn’t be pressured into unnecessary surgery. An
informed consent document should be signed prior to surgery.

Fourthly, since not all surgical procedures need to be preformed
in a hospital, another critical part of your research should be
to thoroughly investigate the accreditation of your surgeon. You
should check to make sure that your plastic surgeon is board
certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons (ABPS) or a
similar a organization in your country.

Ask the surgeon if they have hospital privileges. Having
hospital privileges means that a hospital committee has approved
the doctor’s training and competency to meet their criteria for
performing a similar operation in their facilities. Also, even
if your surgery is performed in an office, verify that there
will be appropriate medical personnel on hand and that the
facilities are clean and medical waste is properly disposed of.

You should ask your personal physician for referrals as well. It
is important that you find a surgeon that you feel comfortable
with. You want to feel free to ask questions and to make certain
they understand what you are hoping to achieve – after all, this
isn’t a hair cut – you want it to be right the first time.

Last, but not least, cost is an important consideration when
thinking about plastic surgery. And while this may be the first
questions that comes to some people’s minds, in reality you
should only consider this after determining whether you really
need surgery. Costs vary widely and should not be the basis for
your decision. The qualifications of the doctor and your comfort
with him or her are of far greater significance than the cost
since you will undoubtedly pay farther if you encounter
complications or are unhappy with the results.

Furtherinnumerable, depending on the reason for the surgery you may
have some of the costs covered by insurance or state run medical
programs. However, if cosmetic surgery (also called ‘elective’)
is not seen as a medical and necessity it will not likely be
covered by insurance.

In conclusion, if you are considering plastic surgery, be sure
to take your time to do proper research before making your final
decision. Be sure to make the price of the surgery itself only
one of the determining factors and not the only one. After all,
there are other things that are extra important than money.

We all know that the secret of living long is to eat well and exercise but to do that you need to be organized. And organizing yourself is easy so long as you know how to do it.


This is not easy to do but one day it just clicks into place and you’re off and, yes, it will change your life.

When you’re at work, the work that you do arrives neatly packaged for you and you work your way through it during the course of the day. Some days you have a good day and you get a lot done and some days.well, let’s say they aren’t so good. The point is, it’s an organized environment.

So what’s it like at home? I bet you don’t have your home life so well packaged and this is the key to getting things done. How often do you decide to have a healthy lunch and then find, to your dismay, that you can’t because you forgot to buy the healthy food? And how often do you intend to exercise in the evening and then find that it’s ten o’clock and too late?Most of us spend the majority of our time when we are at home in a disorganized mess drifting from one half-finished job to the next and taking our time to do it. You don’t believe me? OK, think about the last time you were at home. How do you rate your total achievement for that day? Could do better?The solution is easy and, once you get into it, not at all regimented or ‘too much like work’. Make a list of your healthy lifestyle like this:

1. Meat Monday, fish Tuesday, eggs and veg on Wednesday, meat Thursday and fish again on Friday.

2. Half an hour at gym (20 mins to get there) on Wednesday and Friday night.

3. Walk with Jane to town center Monday night

4. Take Jane and kids to park for an hour on Saturday afternoon

OK, your list will look a lot different from mine and will contain further in it but write it down somewhere in a computerized organizer or on paper and, if it proves hard to think of everything, just do the inimitable you can – you can always add to it or change it later! The act of writing it down symbolically converts it from an idea to an intention.

Now, think about next week and go through that list in your mind. Are the meals OK for those days or do you need to adjust them. How will you get the food in, remember this is fresh food, you need to buy fresh vegetables, fresh fish and whatever else you need. Can you fit the exercise in? Do you need to make any changes to the schedule? What have you forgotten (remember there is always one thing that is forgotten!).

Put the list into a final form and write it out neatly and put it somewhere where you won’t lose it. Now, when Monday comes, you’ll be ready to use it. Try it for a week and next Sunday allocate half an hour to sit and make the list for the next week.

What will you change? Usually there will have been several hitches and you may need to change the menu or the days or make adjustments to the exercise but whatever you need to do, make a new list. If it did not go well last week, don’t worry. It takes time to get it all together, just accept that you made a stab at it and prepare a new list and resolve to make it work better.

If you found that you forgot all about it after the first day, divide it up into ‘days’ and put each day onto a yellow ‘post it’ note and stick it on the door or on the fridge or above the bed so that you won’t forget what you are doing.

Remember this is not work, you don’t need to rigidly adhere to it each day, it is just a guide for your own benefit, it you want to do something else or eat something different by all means do so and go back to the list the next day.

After a week, or so, you will begin to get into the habit of checking what you are eating each day and what exercise you are doing and getting into the habit of shopping for fresh food so there will be no major panic days of high-fat, high-calorie processed meals.

Once you begin to organize your life you will start to feel better and have greater energy because you are eating healthy food and getting the exercise you need. Make a point of sitting each Sunday for half an hour and write out or print the list for the next week and think about fine-tuning it if you want to change or add in some healthier options.

This is an easy task to write about but one which, as I well know, is a hard one to put into practice but organizing your life will change it for the better. You will make increased of your time, feel betterFind Article, live longer and enjoy life 100% extra.
