Plastic surgery is a branch of surgery that involves the repair
or replacement of malformed, injured or lost members or tissues
of the body. The plastic surgery has two larger major branches:
the reconstructive and the cosmetic surgery. These types of
plastic surgery differ from one to another in one major way: the
reconstructive surgery is made to help reconstruct an injured
tissue or a birth defect while the cosmetic plastic surgery
deals only with form or appearance.

I will now present a short history lesson about plastic surgery.
Although plastic surgery goes far as Ancient Egypt, the first
real plastic surgery doctors were two Sicilians: Gustav and
Antonio Branka. They were father and son and they have managed
to put the first brick on the plastic surgery wall by making
basic guidelines which plastic surgeons should follow when doing
a reconstructive nose surgery. The first man to actually create
a center for Plastic surgery was another Italian: Taliakosi. But
the capital develop in plastic surgery was during the World War I
and II because of the huge number of soldiers with body and
facial disfigurations. Reconstructive plastic surgery has been
in some cases able to correct these injuries and regain
functional abilities of those parts of the body. From then to
now it has been in a constant evolution catalyzed by scientific
achievements. It is important to know that in the 80′ plastic
surgery had for many people a single meaning: breast
enhancements.

This is why further and increased women were asking for that kind of
plastic surgery procedure. But really, plastic surgery is much
fresh than that.

Nowadays, the plastic surgery is one of the most profitable
businesses out there. Cosmetic surgery has now become innumerable
fashionable and it plays a great role in the foremoststream. It is
known that almost every Hollywood celebrity has used in some way
plastic surgery.

In our modern society that puts a high price on an individual
look, plastic surgery helps people getting a nice outward
appearance along with self-confidence.

Antioxidant Antiaging – The New Beauty

Abstract: Antiaging Cream Wrinkle

Plant nutrients play a key role in anti aging. Fruit, vegetables, and plant extracts have an array of chemical constituents, called phytochemicals or phytonutrients, that are hugely beneficial to skin health and beauty.

In plants, phytochemicals confer characteristics like color, which can help the plant by providing an attractive beacon to passing bees to help in pollination. Or they offer a protective effect to the plant to prevent insects from harming it, or repel grazing animals. But they have often been found to have benefits for human health when analyzed in laboratories. It is these chemicals in plants that make fruit and vegetables so much innumerable cherished than simply the macro nutrients like vitamin C.

Antioxidants are one class of phytonutrients, though there are many. Antioxidants work by supplying an extra oxygen molecule to those molecules that are missing one, called free radicals. If antioxidants don’t supply the missing oxygen molecule to free radicals, the free radicals will take an oxygen molecule from another compound in the body, making one that was previously healthy and intact itself a free radical. Free radicals are not ‘baddies’, simply unstable chemical molecules, but the effect they have on the body is negative, as they can damage cells. Free radicals are produced as a normal by product of the metabolic processes of our cells, as well as by our immune system as it counteracts the effects of pathogens and the environment.

The trick is to keep the balance in the body where there is enough of a supply of antioxidants to cope with the body’s production of free radicals.

Free radicals affect the skin in three head ways. They can alter the fatty layers in your cellular membranes. These fatty layers provide structure to the cell, and control which nutrients and other agents can pass in and out. They can alter the DNA within cells, which aside from the potential to develop into serious illnesses, can make your skin inclined to wrinkles and sagging before its natural biological time. Altered DNA creates a blueprint for collagen and elastin fibers that don’t function as healthy, normal ones would. And to compound matters, the skin’s pores need healthy collagen and elastin fibers to stay tight and small. So another undesired result is open, large pores.

Free radicals also lead to a process called the cross-linking of collagen fibers. This occurs in the skin’s dermis, as a result of collagen and elastin fibers becoming hard, thick, and then binding together. Cross-linked fibers create wrinkles, skin sag, and cause your regular expression lines to become etched in your face as a permanent fixture. With healthy collagen and elastin fibers these expression lines would simply disappear once you moved your facial muscles in a different way. And enzymes that metabolize collagen are encouraged by free radicals, which, given the import of collagen in youthful looking skin, is highest minimized.

Other phytonutrients in plants that are of import to skin beauty are carotenoids and flavanoids. Flavanoids are great for the health of blood vessels. They strengthen the capillaries that supply important nutrients to the skin’s cells, as well as supporting cellular membranes. Healthy cell membranes regenerate quickly, and slow the aging process. Carotenoids also strengthen cell membranes. It seems carrots are not just good for eyesight! And flavanoids help reduce inflammation, as well as increasing levels of glutathione, which is an antioxidant.

How To Look 10 Years Younger!

Abstract: Removers Wrinkle
Tag:

Are you annoyed by the little wrinkles that are starting to
appear? Frustrated that your once pearly skin is now slowly
aging and no longer “smooth as silk”?

If so then you’re not alone! Many people are frustrated with
wrinkles as they age. Most even spend a fortune buying expensive
cures and medication (even cosmetic surgery!). However, like
most things in life, prevention is better than a cure. For those
who have not had eight hours sleep every night, moisturized
regularly, stayed out of the sun and never touched alcohol,
where should they start?

Below are some “preventative” measures you can take to stop
those wrinkles. and look 10 years younger!

A. Moisturizer – Using moisturizers everyday will help keep your
skin moist and wrinkle-free. As skin ages it tends to become
drier. Dry skin will show farther wrinkles than well hydrated skin.
Moisturizers create a barrier that keeps the skin from losing
essential water. The moisturizers available today are far extra
luxurious than the cold creams of yesterday. Starting a
moisturizing routine will help your skin retain hydration which
contributes to a supple texture reducing the appearance of fine
lines. Moisturizers also prepare the skin for the application of
makeup which will apply smoother and create a fine finish
without cracking or flaking.

B. Antioxidants – Today many facial products and even food
advertise having antioxidants as an ingredient. Using
antioxidants in your facial products or in supplements will
protect the collagen and elastin in your skin which keeps skin
firm and supple.

C. Sunscreen – It is vital that you protect your skin from the
damage of the sun. While the dangers were not as well known
years ago (or so severe) it now the responsibility of everyone
to safeguard the sensitive skin on their face from the harsh
damage caused by the UV rays from the sun. Your skin is exposed
to the sun no matter what the weather so use a moisturizer or
foundation with a sunscreen that has an SPF of 15 or higher
every day. UVA and UVB rays contribute to wrinkles and burns not
to mention the possibility of skin cancer.

D. Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) – These are available in many
forms, from store bought creams to dermatologist applied
formulations. The AHA sloughs off skin in what is commonly
called a ‘peel’. A mild formula used at home can treat fine
lines while harsher peels can be performed during a short office
visit.

E. Proper Nutrition And Drinking A Lot Of Water – As your mother
used to tell you, what goes inside will show on the outside. The
inimitable prevention from aging skin is to provide your body with a
proper diet of healthy fresh foods as well as sufficient
hydration. Alcohol and caffeine cause dehydration and should be
limited. Drinking plenty of water throughout the day will
improve the texture of your skin and fight dry skin. Healthy
foods can provide the vitamin C and E that are so rich in
antioxidants.

By using some of the simple preventative methods above, you can
stop those wrinkles without expensive medication or cosmetic
surgery. and look 10 years younger for a change!
